The Wilderness Experience

The Wilderness Experience

Everyone that must amount to anything of significance in life must have their wilderness experience.

The Wilderness journey is walked alone, isolated from applause. Full of pain and personal doubts! You wonder at everything and nothing seems to add up. Yet you must pass through it.

Your voice is not heard. Your presence is not seen or noticed. But you’re alive, barely surviving, yet being transformed inside, out of the view of all.

Wilderness! The place of dryness and loneliness. Until you go through it, you don’t know it.

Away from people, but not alone. In the wilderness, you come to the end of yourself, you come to your wits end. You lose hunger for validation. You long for survival. You groan and ponder! Friends may not ask after your whereabouts, because you are out of circulation. They may not understand what’s going on. They may guess and interpret. Unfortunately, you have no idea of how long the journey will last. In this wildness, you learn the most important lesson of your life: you learn to be patient with yourself first, before you become patient with others.

In the wilderness journey, you hear the footsteps of the ants. You see the shifting sands sink and fade. You see nature in its raw form. And in your minds eye 👁️, you notice the interconnectedness of everything and the vanity of all things.

Until the day of your showing. When you have passed through the wilderness. You emerge from nowhere. You begin to affirm. You speak with authority. You live with purpose. You become unshakable.

The Wilderness Experience is tough! But it’s part of your journey!

If you haven’t gone through it, you will someday! Never ever give on yourself while on this journey.
